Wedi ymddeol gweithiais ar brosiectau megis ‘Cysgod y Capel’ / ‘Tri yn Un’ / ‘Llanuwchllyn’ / ac ’EnglUniau. Mae ‘r arddangosfa hon - ‘ABERYSTWYTH oherwydd ei natur addysgol yn cyflawni cylch ac yn ail afael yn fy ngreddf naturiol fel athro celf. .Rwyn ymdrin â phrif fudiadau celf ers troad yr ugeinfed ganrif Defnyddiaf brom Aberystwyth fel cyd-destun a’i ddehongli trwy lygad y gwahanol fudiadau celf a rhai artistiaid Cymreig.
I spent my working life educating through art and I regarded this as a creative activity in itself. After retirement I worked on projects such as 'Cysgod y Capel' / 'Tri yn Un' / 'Llanuwchllyn' and 'EnglUniau.' This exhibition - 'ABERYSTWYTH' because of its educational nature completes a circle and reconnects with my instinct as an art teacher. Here I'm responding to some of the main movements in Art since the turn of the 20C. I'm using the prom in Aberystwyth as contexts and interpreting it through the eyes of different art movements an some Welsh artists..
